Joseph Johnson has 10+ years defending large corporations and insurance companies against claims made by individuals and businesses.  Utilized for his thorough investigation, writing, and trial skills, Joseph’s attention to detail and cooperative, but aggressive, approach saved these insurance companies millions of dollars.  During these years it became apparent that these companies would do anything to save merely a few dollars, even when faced with reasonable and justified claims, and now uses the knowledge and experience he gained regarding their strategy and tactics to fight for the rights of injured persons. His unique insight into how the insurance companies and their counsel defend against claims gives Joseph a leg-up on his adversaries in order to get maximum compensation for his client’s injuries.

Joseph is well respected by his peers due to his professionalism, dedication to his clients, and ability to work well with others. Skilled at both settlement and litigation, his decision to “switch sides” to fight for the rights of individuals gives his clients a unique advantage.

Joseph was born and raised in the Los Angeles area and has a true and lasting love for the various different people and cultures that make up this great city.  He received a Division 1 swimming scholarship to UCSB and graduated with a degree in Law & Society in 1999.  He then attended law school at Southwestern University in Los Angeles.  Joseph lives in Manhattan Beach with his wife and two children.  When not working or spending time with his family, Joseph enjoys the beach, swimming, hiking, traveling, basketball, golf, and cheering for his favorite Los Angeles teams the Dodgers, Lakers, Kings, and Rams.
